Our Team Helping Yours

Point Video approaches the work you do as a story that needs to be told. The documentaries we produce are engaging narratives about your organization’s mission and culture each including a call-to-action compelling viewers not only to lend their aid but also directing them how to do so.

We have designed a series of versatile packages to meet any organization’s needs and budget. These packages include presentations that can be used on websites, in direct mailers, at fundraisers, galas, and on television. Each project is individually tailored to the needs of our clients through a pre-production process in which our writers and segment directors work with members of your team in order to fully understand your organization’s history, present work, and future goals. Executive Staff:

Peter A. Cancilla, Founder of Point Video Productions

Peter A. Cancilla has always been fascinated by the concept of visual storytelling. He holds a bachelors in communications and cinema studies from Northeastern University and has years of experience in television and video production and post-production. Peter has produced media packages for small agencies, universities, law firms, medical institutions, and large corporations. He came to the realization that he felt a deeper commitment to nonprofit projects. Not only does he find furthering the cause of philanthropic organizations rewarding, he also enjoys the aesthetic challenge that nonprofit productions offer: to mix emotion and information into a high-impact story for a variety of audiences and goals.

“Any filmmaker will tell you that there is nothing more rewarding than witnessing an audience have an emotional response to your work. In projects like these, that emotional response leads to action,” Peter says of his craft.

Peter has found that most non-profits lack video presentations, which is an essential tool to further goals and to raise funds. This led him to found Point Video Productions.

Dan Burbul, Director of Internet Services

With over a decade of hands-on Internet and web experience, Dan joined the Point Video Production team to offer nonprofit organizations help and advice about incorporating videos on their own websites. Dan also facilitates the video streaming branch of PVP. As a Massachusetts native, Dan enjoys working with the same philanthropic organizations that have helped his community over his lifetime.

Margaret Maxwell, Interviewer and Script Coordinator

With a background in marketing writing, Margaret has always had an interest in the way that information fits together to create a cohesive story. She joined the Point Video team to assist in on-set interviews. Her ability to set the subject at ease facilitates spontaneous, natural responses. Margaret also writes Point Video’s scripts and collaborates with clients throughout the pre-production process.
